Steel Guitars of North County opened its doors April 16, 2005 with a resounding bang heard throughout North San Diego County with the arrival and ensuing concert by none other than 3 world class steel guitarists- Maurice Anderson, JayDee Maness, and David Wright all lending their support of this project for steelers on the "left" coast. It was conceived of by long time steel guitarist Jim Palenscar in order to continue to propagate his passion for steel guitars.

Everything a steel player would want is now available through SGNC (Steel Guitars of North County) including sales, lessons, repairs, accessories, fabrication and custom laser engraving.
